You can usually find my three best friends and I running around rampage, barefoot up and down the coast, in the ocean, or piled in my van blasting music and playing with the tambourine & harmonica. My adventures with these three goons are what inspire most all my short clips.

Hello there! I’m Josie Raina. I am a 21 year old living in Costa Mesa California.

So many different things inspire me to create. The thing that inspires my work the most would have to be the people who surround me. They all have their different and unique quirks that make them all so special and captivating. (Aka, Callie, Jordyn, & Shawna)

I love creating content that gets people inspired. One of the first creative films I ever put together is titled “Persian Princess”. One of my best friends, Callie, was the muse for this one. She was the first out of our friend group to move out and I wanted to capture her and her essence in her new element.

“Phases” is the most recent short film I put together. I started a new job recently and one of my co-workers writes music (@moongrassmountain). He offered to let me use one of his songs and that’s where this film stemmed from. This short clip includes some adventures from the last couple months of my life.

I love looking back at old films I put together in comparison to new ones. I have learned a lot, and I hope to continue learning!

I also love taking film photos, creating overlays with my art, painting, and designing graphics. I haven’t specifically found my “niche” quite yet, all I know is that I love what I do and I hope to continue pursuing this passion of mine.
