About

An Aquarian Exhibition is an independent online magazine that was founded in 2018. The site began, however, as an individual blog of a very young Eva Barnsley in 2014. It then became a small communal site entitled 'Cinnamon Honey', and has now expanded into an international community known as 'An Aquarian Exhibition'.

The goal of the magazine is to build upon the community, inviting all creatives to contribute. We explore youth in the digital age, art and music and simple chaotic thoughts.

FAQ

Where'd the name come from?
I (editor, Eva Barnsley) have a Woodstock "69 poster up on the wall of my bedroom and have for a few years. My friends and I entered a film comp in 2018, and when trying to find a name, read "AN AQUARIAN EXPOSITION" on the poster. This refers to "the change in human consciousness which transcended mankind and was exemplified by many characteristics of the hippie movement". So, the title is an ode to Woodstock and the counter-culture of the time, but with a twist. Rather than an exposition, 'An Aquarian Exhibition' exhibits the counter-culture of the 21st century.
