Any time I look back at my photos, I see the big picture and am reminded of where I was, who I was with, how I was feeling, why I decided to snap that picture, etc. I've always had a deep appreciation for what ended up being captured once I got my developed film photos back. I look at them and become satisfied with the overall "feel" of the pictures. But sometimes I look at my photos again, even after months passed, and notice small details that I didn't pay attention to when taking the photo -- and realize that sometimes I like the little details more. Small details like flowers next to a house, furniture, the scenery out the window, activities people are doing in the background, and more. "Minutiae" is basically a series of close-ups from photos I already had. It was interesting to go back and search for those small details in my pictures that I didn't even notice was there. Then, they become their own new little photos that tell a different story or perspective from its original. It's kind of like my way of "appreciating the little things", but through my photos.
