Loose pants - I went to the beach this month on a trip with friends, an old pair of loose brown pants were returned to me and I bought a pair of olive ones also. I have barely taken them off since.
Bandanas/Scarves - My friend Seb lured me into the bandana world in which he's been living in for months. I have a black and white paisley square scarf that can be worn in plenty of ways and is a great way to keep your hair back.
Funky denim - I went thrifting with my friends and we all found great denim, Seb bought a denim jacket with corduroy detailing and I scored an oversized denim jacket made of different coloured denim. A great staple piece.
Sky Eyes - Sofia made a short film featuring myself and Seb this month. The film follows Night and Day with a series of video footage, collage, stop motion and poetry.
2001: A Space Odyssey - We projected the film onto my bedroom wall late at night and got lost. The film is a masterpiece, and though anybody should watch it, my fellow film students must.
Get outside - As cliche as this may sound, being outside, one on one with nature has been so relieving. This month was an emotional rollercoaster and a beach getaway meant so much. You don't need to travel, go to a park close by for a day.
Shop - Going to second hand stores with friends has always provided a fun day. You don't even have to buy anything; go in, try things on, inspire yourself and have fun!
Note: The Dear Monthly posts of Cinnamon Honey are some of our most popular articles and we try to ensure to upload monthly. This month, however, has been emotionally draining, and challenging hence the short post for February. I have found that these posts prove interesting for me as each month when I sit down to write one, I think "this is no different from last month", however, after revisiting the posts you can see my continual growth and development so thank you for sticking around!
